Rooted Droid question

Is a rooted Droid dependant on the SD card installed at the time it was rooted? 😕
Or can you pull the SD card, reset the phone, give it to someone else (wiped SD card) and they'll be good to go? 😕

the root is done on the phone itself, it has nothing to do with the SD card

to unroot the phone you need to manually install a stock image, doing a factory reset will NOT wipe root with most roms.
