With the advent of tiered data pricing in the USA, mobile-optimizing web content just shifted from a convenience to a necessity, especially for high-end users.
iPhones and Androids are such bandwidth hogs, serious users are going to have to keep monster data packages on their lines to run those kinds of machi...

Blackberry is a VERY consumer unfriendly OS in a lot of ways. Sure, it's easy to find the call button, but how you basically HAVE to do a battery pull every few days, how navigating the interface isn't quite as easy as you would like (ask any rep how many times they had to "unhide" apps that the customer unknowingly hid)
I loved my Tour, and I think it is an excellent business device, but as a consumer device, it needs to do a heck of a lot more than efficiently compress and render webpages in the modern market.
I've been chatting with this guy in the Spint forum, he works in a store in KC, and they've sold 200 Evo's already, 75-80 of which he estimates are *new* Sprint customers, and the store he works @ has ANOTHER 300 Evo's on the way!!!!! Their giving rainchecks out to everyone else who wants one, he estimates 400 will be sold by the end of next week!!!!!
