Any Other New Smartphones Due Out Before Year's End?
My New Every 2 is in September, but I'm wondering if I should hold out upgrading if any other new phones are due out.
Have to admit I was hoping for a Verizon iphone, but since that fizzled yesterday, it looks the Incredible is the next best thing. However, it seems like I'm always just a beat behind when a newer/greater phone comes out, so if anyone has any heads up on phones due out in the 4th Q or 1st Q of next year, I'd love to hear about them.

There will ALWAYS Be new smartphones. forever and ever until smartphones are no more. With so many months left in the year, there are bound to be some more coming out.
If you wait for the latest and greatest, you'll always be waiting to upgrade. With cellphones, as soon as you hear about a phone it's "old tech."
Current rumors are:
at least 2 motorola Droid brand phones (the xtreme and I'm assuming droid 2)
-Blackberry is releasing OS 6.0, so expect a few from their camp.
-at least one WindowsPhone7 release before the holidays.
Major phone releases almost always happen around the holidays or in the summer. The key is to look at what you need a phone to do, and choose the device that does MORE than what you'll ever think you'l...

I agree, 'ya gotta buy what best suits your foreseeable needs at the time. If you wait for the latest and greatest, well you'll always be waiting. Phones are moving fast now but most people can do just fine for 2 years on whatever they choose to buy. That being said I suddenly have my eye on the Moto Shadow/Xtreme. About time Big Red got some of that big screen love lol. Moto is suddenly back in the game; the Droid changed all that, solid, well built, fast, good phone imo.
