Kyocera Soho KX1- Any Good?
This phone just came out for VZW, and on paper, its quite appealing to me... its an entry-level flip with an outside display, trimode, speakerphone, and *no* camera... which is great, because like lots of ppl, my employer does not allow cameraphones, for security reasons (such is life in the vid game industry).
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this phone... I really like my Sammy 530, but when it comes time to upgrade, this may be an option. My feeling about other Kyoceras has been mixed... their sliders seems to be nice, but that KX2 swivel design felt/looked very strange and off-putting to me.

Not as good as build as your Sam. (but it is nowhere as expensive as your 530 was originally)
I personally do not like the menu compared to the LG's however that is just because I am not use to it
Overall I think it is a good phone that is an excellent buy for the price

wfine81...Don't you also have the LG4500? That is the phone I currently have as well and my contact is up in July (I could upgrade in May). How does it compare to the 4500? I like my LG for the ease of use...such as 1 push of a button to get into my phone directory. Is the Soho just as easy to use? Also it states in the specs it has no side keys...yet in the pic of the phone I see them on there. What are they for? Just wondering for I also am thinking of upgrading and like Jake, am not intersted in a camera. Thanks!

No, Im switching back to my 4500 today, the soho is a great phone, and if I had started off with it I'm sure I would like it more, I try EVERY SINGLE phone when it comes out and just havent found anything that I like as much it (4500), it is just so easy to use and I havent found anyhting that I like more

We've been selling the SoHo at USCC for a while now, and I have to say that it's a lousy phone. We see the flip break a lot, the speakerphone isn't really worth using, and downloaded ringtones are very silent. The screen quality isn't great, colors seem very washed out on it.
