I'd say never... unless there is negative or positive confirmation. If Apple comes out and says that they will not work with Big Red or if they decide to launch an Apple brand phone. Speculations and rumors will continue to be the kukky farts in everyone's pants.
I do believe that there is a contract between Apple and Verizon in regard to hiring people who specialize in creating very good rumors with the intentions of seeing how many people will jump off a bridge at the same time.
BUT, It would be pretty sweet to have a nonAndroid phone (iPhone) on...

well if we subtract all conversations about a VZ Iphone, that would leave us bitching about software updates, data plans, crappy ETFs, and probably the next big thing we want to come to VZ that we cannot have.

Apple will sell a bunch of GSM iPhone 4 models to AT&T subscribers, then 4 months later all the rich ones will jump ship and buy a second iPhone 4 to get one that actually makes calls.

Let me see if I can stimulate an argument. If I were to take the facts that ATT is currently allowing everyone to upgrade to the new Iphone early in their contract, might create the assumption that there is a fear that VZW will get an Iphone. which is why they want to lock in existing customers for another 2 years with a higher ETF effective June 1st. This would be a good move for ATT if they don't want their customers to jump ship unless they pay a $325 fee. Also, ATT just now started getting a decent Andriod phone. Compensation and security? What do you think?
