How far would you go to cheat the system?

So just a few questions, and of course you will not be held liable for your answers. 😛

If you read any of the comments, you would have seen people with no issues calling in and committing fraud by telling vzw they are having issues to get a new/free Bold. Would you?

Why do you think people are like 'vzw/sprint is ok in my book now' 'vzw rocks'? They are happy that they lied to cheat the system?

Do you try to cheat your carrier anyway possible?

Just wondering what the other phone nerds here think..

Yeah, I thought it was pretty stupid when I heard VZW was giving out Bolds as replacements for the Tour.
But I guess they don't have any Tours left, I wanted one but the sales clerk came back and said they don't have any and showed me the Bold. 😕

I guess what bugs me the most is that if a company did what some of these people are admitting to doing then you can be sure the BBB would get involved and people would whine and cry.. But its ok for consumers to screw there providers by providing false and misleading information. What's the world coming to? :/

I worked for VZW for seven years and two of those in tech. This is nothing new. (Some) customers will lie to get a new phone. It is despicable, Yes. But it comes with the territory.
