If I'm still in my trial period but removed the upc for a rebate, can I return my handset for an exchange of the same one? 😕

The short answer is, "No."

However if you bought it in retail there was a SKU in the old days which subtracted the cost of the rebate from the returned device transaction. If the current rebate is $50 then you get the cost of the phone minus fifty returned to you and keep that nifty rebate debit card. There is no guarantee that it still exists though.

Read all of the receipts that you got when you bought the phone, if you can't it will say somewhere in there.

I noticed you said in exchange for the same model. If that's the case then, yes. You can get a replacement of your phone for the same model even if you cut the UPC.

Thanks, I think I also remember something about what Azeron mentioned.
I called CS to make sure there wasn't any network issues in my area and as they recommended I've rest my BB Bold 9650. So I'll see if that helps before thinking about exchanging it. But I've read in other forums of the same troubles I've been having with mine on both Sprint & VZW. 😕
