Verison service
I have recently learned that Verizon is building a new tower where I live so we will finally have a provider other than US Cellular. How can I find out a projected date they will have the cell site in service.

Tower placements are usually held close to chest. You might try asking the local store (if there is one) but most of the time, people won't know until it's officially launched.

Interestingly, this had absolutely no Verizon towers in my area, even though I know the exact location of three locally. I used to live within a few hundred yards of a tower in a city park, and their system shows nothing close to there. This is the main Verizon tower in my city.
Go figure.

I believe that! And even more strange is the fact that this site is supposed to list all of the towers that are reported to the FCC. Someone isn't doing their job very well!!

I went to that website, I don't see anywhere that they indicate which towers are which carriers.
