I mean the Vz card for your laptop. How are your download speeds? I know they aren't as fast as cable but I'm wondering how they compare, especially for music and movies or tv. I'd like to completely ditch Cox Cable but we can't live without internet support 😁

With the 5gb limit you wouldnt want to do alot of movie or song downloads. Or much streaming at all. It could get expensive.

I only use it when I'm travelling. I enable it as an option on my Blackberry for tethering several weeks at a time only several times a year.

It's good enough to browse the web the way I do, but that's not saying much. I never watch movies or TV on my computer and 360p resolution in youtube is good enough for me on my tiny netbook screen I use the service on.

As I've said many times before: If you already have cable or DSL service available where you want to use the service, you'll be keeping that forever. The only reason to have MOBILE internet is for people who are always needing an internet connection some place that is more then 100 feet away from the nearest free WiFi hotspot.
