Sacrifice $100 NE2 Credit?
OK...I admit it. I'm a gadget junkie. I love cool new phones. The second year of my two-year contact always feels like 5 years. Here's my latest temptation: I just confirmed that I could upgrade my phone to the new Droid X this week (at the reduced price of $199) but no NE2 credit. If I wait 3 more months (an eternity) I could do it AND get my $100 NE2 credit. So the question is, do I wait 3 more months to save $100? Oh I already know what the responsible, adult thing to do is. But I really don't want to. I want a cool new phone. Now.

Later this year motorola is going to launch another droidx w a 2g processor to take advantage of the ability to load flash html pages. That's just food for thought.

My current phone is the LG Dare. It's been a good phone. It seems so basic now, but when I first got it two years ago it was da bomb! 😎
I'm still not sure what to do. I have read every review and watched every youtube video there is on the Droid X. I'm totally impressed with the phone, but I still think it's too big. You're right. I absolutely know that getting the Droid X this week (if it's even possible) is a dumb thing to do. I'm just pathetically impatient when it comes to exciting new tech gadgets. Today is my 44th birthday, but you'd think I was 12 by the way I am with this stuff.
Here's how I justify it in my head:
The Droid X has been in the hands of and reviewed by hundreds of techies and review sites already. If there were any glaring issues with the phone, I think someone would have found it by now. Plus, there's also the 30 day return policy if the phone flat-out sucks.
