Problem with LG Chocolate

Hello, I had two lines that have the LG chooclate and we keep having to mail it in and get a new one... I've had it do it 3 times on one line and 2 on another... Basically getting tired of th problems with that phone..I've called and asked if they give me another phone or something except that one and said no...Does anyone know how to bicker enough to get diff phones or credit to get another or how I would word it? Thanks!

The problem is it's a Chocolate. We could make twenty guesses and the phone would probably be having every issue.

We have a customer who threw a stromp in the store so loudly that the guy at tech finally caved and sent him a Voyager to replace his Rival (which had only been replaced once). If the phone on one line has been replaced 3 times for the same issue and you complain enough, they may send you a different model. I think you catch more flies with honey so be nice about the complaining but just keep after it. I know that with my customers, if I have someone whose phone has been replaced multiple times (this has mostly been with the Rival), I'll go to bat and try to get them a different model. So you could also try going to a store and be as nice as pie and maybe a rep there can help you.

Those days are long gone. He'll continue to be given the same phone. I would not want to be the Supervisor who has to explain to the AD why he went outside of policy to replace a Chocolate with ANYTHING else but another Chocolate.

How long have you had it?

Have they all been the same issue?

When is your contract up?

How long have you been a customer?

What is your average monthly bill?

Do you always pay on time?

Seriously even if it is the last Chocolate they were all garbage. I really miss the puke green one. Yum! That last one was so damned flimsy that when I would have to trouble shoot with a customer I just shook my head in disgust at Verizon for selling it and the customer for buying it. What was that model the 8560? Can't remember...

Could be the choc touch, right? Anyway that's why I asked.

Also I think it would be great if people thought about things before they start demanding things. Things like if it makes buisness sense to get them a different phone.

Oh yeah! I forgot about that one. I was gone by the time that was released. Could be... I haven't heard any complaints from my former co-worker who had it though. I'll ask him about it.

Surely you are eligible for upgrades on these lines now. I suggest doing so. You made a horrible error in judgment buying the Chocolate in the first place. I hope for your sake you got them for free. Sometimes one just has to cut one's losses and get out of the phone. This is one of those times. I certainly would not hold my breath waiting for VZW to GIVE you an updated model.
