Alltel phone on My VZW plan??
Why does Verizon not allow old Alltel phones to be activated on a verizon calling plan? I had alltel, then switched to a verizon plan, and now am not allowed to use my other alltel phone ever again? Anyone know why, or when they might allow this?

Because alltel phones work with alltel' snetwork not VZW... VZW bought alltel and would support thier plans until everybody mergered over, once everybody merges then anything alltel will dissappear... the phone is programmed to a specific network, not multi networks... you try and unlock it, but VZW will not knowingly activate another carriers phone even though they bought the carrier...
