Storm3 release in October
What are the odds that VZW will allow the people that purchased Storm2's not long ago upgrade to the S3? I'm not saying NE2 or anything but say for re-signing a 2yr and getting S3 for say... $199?

they will most likely do what they do with android phones. If your upgrade date is this year you can upgrade anytime. If not your out of luck.

completely understandable. If you want to know data is way faster on droid if that matters to you. but allot. But some it doesn't and just stick with BB. maybe the new BB OS will address this issue I dunno.

yes I really want the better browser and speeds.... However Email is #1 must have. I have friends with Androids at work. They say attachments don't always work, sometimes the email gets all jacked up when you forward it, they arrive slower...and a few other issues.

email arrives quickly well you can set it up to check every 5 min. However the forwarding of attachments is screwed. You can't. Or I haven't been able to. getting them is no problem just sending them on is.

I am almost finally fed up with my 9530 😢 . Can't wait to get my hands on a Fascinate. If super AMOLED performs any better in direct sunlight then the Incredible does, I'll get one about 6 weeks after launch.

everything is speculation and rumor at this point. I would assume it looks the same, surepress from storm 2 is back, 512mb and 1 ghz processor. Some are saying it will not be a true os6 but a hybrid (so says rumors) and that is really about it (and they upped the camera)

ya, i had the S1 also; liked it for about a year but loaned it to my lovely wife after hers was stolen. when she upgraded to the S2 (go figure, she loved her S1, couldn't talk her into any of the Androids lol) and i got mine back it was totally abused! i had no idea she spent sooo much time on it. that first gen sure press really was lame in terms of longevity. i had to resurrect my Pearl and retire the S1, it's just plain worn out.
i'm looking forward to my ne2 in Oct, there is so much out now and the holidays/LTE will bring even more. having said that i would really like to see Vz get the Torch!! i really have been spoiled by BB when it comes to email and BBM. OS6 looks much better.
