If I just UPGRADED and RETURN then phone will it RESET my new every 2?
I just bought the droid x,and am just very unhappy with the phone. If I return the phone, and wait for something different to come down the pipeline....Does my NE2 reset or will I be screwed out of it....

Your NE2 will reset, you'll have to pay the restocking fee, and depending on where you got it from there might also be other things you have to do (this would all be on the paperwork you got at purchase).

It has nothing to do with device envy, the droid x just isn't my cup of tea. Its little things like the screen is 4.3 i would rather have 3.7-4"...the battery life (yes with any feture phone the battery will die faster) I might have gotten a lemon, but with a full charge, no programs running etc... the battery lasts 5 hours, with no talking, and 5-10 text messages...the internet browser crashes...

you got a lemon with the battery. you should get 10-15hrs or so out of it, signifigantly more if it's on standby/

The sound is awful. If its in my pocket, even on full sound, I miss most alerts, calls, alarms etc....The alarm in the morning is pitiful....So much so that I actually bought a cheap alarm clock. If it's laying back side down, the speaker cannot overcome the surface.... ☹️ ☹️ ☹️ ☹️ ☹️
