Interesting Survey Results

I was watching my local news this morning and they talked about a survey that was done on the major cell carriers. It looked at call quality, signal strength, dropped calls...ect. The results for my area (mid Atlantic) had Verizon in first place with 5 stars. Next was Sprint, followed by T-Mobil, and AT&T was dead last with 2 stars. I've never had Sprint or T-Mobil, but based on my experience with both Verizon and AT&T I would agree with those results. Anyone else see or hear about that survey?

There are way too many surveys that I ignore them all now.

It really does depend on your area and device. I have the BB 9650 and it works fine in the Metro Detroit area. But, I drop calls like crazy in my apartment bedroom. Heck, it's not that good at my work either.

Consumer surveys about wireless service are like fish in the ocean. If someone finds one that doesn't suit their particular needs, there's always a billion more to pick from out there.

Oh sure..I realize there are tons of conflicting surveys and studies about this stuff. I just thought I'd share what this one said because I agree with it. What they said matches my own personal experience. I do feel that Verizon's signal strength, coverage area, and call quality are leaps and bounds ahead of AT&T.

I'm sure it is, which is why I'm probably just gonna get a network extender for my apartment. I spend my weekends visiting family and friends back in Metro Detroit, so having my phone be reliable then is more important. I don't really sit and talk at work all day, and after work I relax, so it isn't as important. I guess I just hate having to get a network extender, bleh!
