i thought when they had world com they actually owned there network. but i will admit that was an assumption i made. that is also why i figured verizon wanted them so bad. does any one know for a fact that they were just resalers? i guess that would explain there eagerness to buy sprint back in 98. lucky for sprint that was rejected
