Hey All! I currently have an LG-4500...love it, easy to use, but thinking of trying something different. I don't want a camera phone...so my only choices are currently: the Samsung SCH-N330...saw a model of one in the store. Seems like a real cool phone, but wondering if that pop-up screen will wear out fast. How does it perform signal & call quality wise? Anybody have the Kyocera KX1 aka-SoHo. The only thing about this one, no side keys for volume. Also, does anyone know if Verizon is going to get the Nokia 3155? I sure hope so! Then the Samsung-330 won't be my 1st choice...I'll wait for the Nokia! Opinions please! Thanks!!

Stick with the 4500, it is the same phone I have, and as an Verizon store owner I have tried EVERYTHING, if you like it keep it until something WONDERFUL comes out, the 4500 is a great all around phone

I'm in the same boat... am looking to replace my (very good) Samsung 530 in a few months with something possibly better.

Have been eyeing, as you have, the Kyocera Soho and the Samsung 330. However, I keep hearing bad things about the Soho's battery life. The Sammy seems more 'quality' all-around, but I also hear that it's reception isn't quite as good as Sammies usually are, due to the internal antenna.

It may be that I'll just wait until the Samsung A570 and Nokia 3155 are out, and take another look then. The killer non-cameraphone of my dreams is out there, I just know it. 🙂

You are correc tabout the Sammy and its internal antenna, I have not, personally, had any problem with its battery life, about teh same as my 4500.

Dont rush into a phone, wait until the "perfect" phone arrives.

Remember...

wow, I butchered that last statement,

I meant that the battery life in the soho (kx1) has not been a problem for me, and the battery has been about the same as my LG 4500

If you are looking for a great phone, I love my LG VX 8000....Personally, I like the slightly larger size, and the features is spectacular! I would stay away from the samsung with the flip up screen...that phone is just asking for problems, and its overpriced for a non-camera phone....If you want a pretty good all around phone I would consider the Sammy a670, i had and loved it! thats my two cents...later.

I agree, I have the 8000 on my demo line and it is a very good phone, I use it primarly for the great camera and the MP3 player.

I dont like the menu on the 8000 however, I prefer the "old" stlye of LG's menu's

honestly take a look at the v260 from moto.. its a good little phone the only thing I have seen as in complaints is the date is blocked by the VZW logo on the phone... it has great reception decent battery life and a full duplex speakerphone istead of half duplex like the 4500.. oh and its tri mode....

the v260 is not available via corperate stores only reatil agents and radioshacks

Yuck, I refuse to carry Motos in my store simply because about 85% come back with some sort of problem, usually charging related or software problems
