Mail In Rebate With Debit Card...Online?
Wow! It seems like the balance between Direct and Online is now restored. I was surfing vzw.com wondering if the price of the Incredible had dropped only to find that it no longer comes with the instant rebate. What say you online haters? Happy now?

I took a second look at the site an those other phones which I have no interest in and found that only the Droids are restricted to the Debit card. Those other phones still have instant rebates. Maybe that will change in the future?

Yeh, it's just the high demand droid phones (at least for a moment)
While it's great, it most likely won't last too long (watch them bring it back as a "promotion" that never leaves for christmas) Kinda like what they did last year. But for the moment it's a good point for reps in the stores.
I hate rebates as much as the next guy, but offering them in store and waiving them online just isn't cool.

§ All current and future DROIDs
§ Samsung Fascinate
§ Samsung Continuum (at launch)

Aria, Captivate, Torch, Gurve 3G and Pearl 3G when they drop.
Looks like the 3 new Droid handsets will be sans rebates, too. Sweet!
