ALLY HELP!!
I just got the Ally and I wanted the VZ Navigator on it because I like the audiable turn by turn directions. However, this phone will not load the Vz Navigator. Does google maps have a audiable one that will talk to me, not just me give directions? Or is thier an application in Droid Mkt that will work here in the US for audiable turn by turn. Thanks

The google maps is audible make sure you have the most recent version of google maps. If you do, you will have a navigation button

Hope it works, someone told me that you would need the latest Froyo 2.2 to have my phone tell me directions. And that update is not avail on the Verizon Lg Ally. I am confused. But I am a fan of you Menno.. You do know your stuff so I am glad you responded. I will see what happens I am passing this info to a friend and they can not get it to work ☹️

Nope, the directions come on any device runnin 1.6 or higher.
Google Maps with Navigation will supply it. You might have to search for it in the market. Sometimes the copy on your phone and the copy on the market arn't linked, so do a search and download google maps from the market. it should pop up with a warning about replacing your version with a new version. Accept it.
