Well I played with it in the store but wasnt sure I was ready to make the plunge. I can always cancel it and go into the store right?

Usually, it's hard to cancel once it's in the system. But you might be able to go into the store and get the phone - just be sure you REFUSE the one coming via FedEx. Otherwise, you'll be charged for a second DroidX at full retail.
