ANY COOL NEW PHONES COMING OUT FOR VERIZON!??
I CURRNTLY HAVE A SAMSUNG 670 I THINK.. ITS ALRIGHT BUT MY CONTRACT IS ENDING WITHIN A MONTH OR SO AND TRIED LOOKING FOR A GOOD UPGRADE WITH VERIZON BUT CAME UP WITH NOTHING.. ANYONE KNOW OF ANYTHING GOOD COMING SOON? CUZ IF NOT I MAY SWITCH TO CINGULAR AND GET THE RAZR, I KNOW A SPOT THATLL SELL IT FOR 50 BUCKS!.. BUT I DO LIKE THE SERVICE VERIZON PROVIDES.. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I've heard several may be coming out soon, but, who knows when. One is the LG VX-8100. But, eventually there will be some.
If you do check out Cingular, check out the Samsung P-207 which recently came out, and is getting rave reviews (4.59 on phonescoop). It can do speech to text messaging, and looks pretty cool. That's the one that looks most appealing to me at Cingular, not the Razr (inspite of no speakerphone or bluetooth, which I found I really didn't need).
I recently tried the Moto 551 at Cingular, and didn't like it because, like most Moto's out today, has such low earpiece and headset volume. I was expecting the Cingular call quality to be really bad, but it was OK--but not as good as Verizon. I'm guessing the Razr is like tha...

When I went to the Verizon store today, they already had dummy phones of it on the shelf for ppl to pick up and fool around with.

I have to say that I gave up on Verizon to offer a good phone. And I have to say that I wasn't all the impressed with the LG7000 and wanted out of it after a couple of months. I was very disapointed with LG after that phone. Not to mention that I thought it was a bit on the ugly side. I do a lot of AIM and text messaging but the Palm and Blackberrys are too big for my taste. So I picked up an A630 and can't be more pleased with it. It even has full Bluetooth support. The ONLY downside with the A630 is that it needs a removable memory option and more space to store text pages. Too bad I had to switch service providers to get the phone. all i will say is that the verizon rep told me that
"Verizon wireless does not have any towers in your town. They have one in the towns next door but not in your town."
I then stared at him and say "Why? Cinguar has towers EVERYWHERE in town and even tmobile does"
HE just stared at me and staid, "Right"
(For those of you who dont know what 'right' he was saying, it was the 'right' when you dont understand why a company has no towers in an area while everyone else does. Telling you to go to another carrier. it was that 'right')
