Is it normal for the battery on the phone to run hot? I am sure it is cause its a "smart phone". There was another question to ask but I can't for the life of me remember what it was.

Like how hot are we talking about? Warm to the touch, or like.. laptop's been on for 5 hours playing movies hot?
The phone WILL get warm during media playback and gaming, but if it's running HOT you might want to get it exchanged.

I wouldnt say laptops been on for 5 hours....its kind of in the middle but alas your right perhaps its because i am using it for gmail and some web surfing

Actually since I ordered this phone from Amazon I am beginning to wonder if it was a refurb? Basically the Droid X box came in a UPS closed with no wrapping around the Droid X box just closed. Also There was no manual...When I charge it completely does it say "charge complete" or just 100% on the screen.

There is no manual shipping with android devices, just a getting started guide. Also boxes arn't sealed typically. If it was a refub it would have to (legally) be listed somewhere on the box.
