VZ phone with bluetooth and EVDO? What are my options? Sammy 730?

Hi folks,

Currently, I have a V710 with verizon for my voice, and the t610 (T mobile unlimited internet plan) that I bluetooth to with my Pocket PC to use for Data. Originally I thought I would be able to use the 710 but...thats a whole other thread.

Basically I would like to be able to purchase a VZ phone with EVDO on it, bluetooth to it and use it for data for my PDA (if the 730 comes out I wont need to use my PDA) or my laptop.

Im really anxiously awaiting the Samsung 730 but worried that verizon will disable one thing or another on the bluetooth, and not let me tether the devices to use the EVDO capability as an access point. Also, If I use an EVDO enabled 'plain' phone with bluetooth, I can have my choice of PDAs as well, as...

Thats a cool phone, only issue is that I would be stuck with using it as a PDA as well, I mean, technically I COULD use ANOTHER PDA with it, but that would defeat the purpose and I would have to cary two PDAs.

Does verizon disable tethering on the V88100?

If you're not looking for a PDA, you would have to wait for the LG VX-8100 or the Motorola E815. They will most likely be the first non-pda EV-DO phones with BT.
