I thought I read some where that Verizon was doing away with earlier than planned upgrades on the NE2 plan...Meaning I am due for an upgrade in March but I can upgrade in December.....Or are they doing away with the whole NE2 program altogether?

You have until mid-2011 to use any NE2 discount, after which it is gone for good. If you're slated for an NE2 discount after middle of this year, you'll never see it.

To answer his question I think sparker will still have one crack at a NE2 and one crack at an early annual upgrade. He purchased before the change.
That is my understanding of the new policy. Only Jan 16th and after will be on the new program.
