I was reading this article about the CDMA Motorola RAZR and I saw something that looked odd.

Motorola announced that it will be offering a new CDMA version of the RAZR V3. Sadly, the initial version of the handset will not contain A-GPS and therefore will not be viable for the US market, with its E911 requirements.
The CDMA RAZR will first show up in Korea. Motorola claims that it is trying to cram the needed chips into the CDMA RAZR so that it can be brought into the US market.

noteable change with the new handset, which will be known as the MS550 in Korea, is the camera. The new RAZR sports a 1.3 megapixel camera, which is a significant upgrade from the GSM RAZR V3's VGA unit.

Probably a bad thing. If you ask me, it's a smart move requiring external antennas. You didn't get comparable service with an innie, though that might've changed (Which is why they're laxing on it).

I'm still weirded out to see a antenna-less flip, tho.

I agree you get slightly less reception but I prefer not to have an antenna, I always break them.

I have a Samsung i700 and a Moto V710 and my stubbed antenna i700 gets better reception than my extendable antenna V710 in some places especially when traveling on I-95
