International Data Rate Changes

Does anyone have any insight as to why this changed? I deal with this a lot. Used to be a 64.99 add-on for unlimted access to most of the countries we deal with... now its

$30 for 75MB
or
$100 for 200MB

Is international data really costing them that much?

I would imagine that as world travel on your mobile becomes more and more common, the companies in this and other countries are going to seek out and implement new ways of making money off of you.

I have no indication as to why this has changed, but international rates and programs change every few years, and it's about that time (apparently).

$64.99 for Unlimited Data Worldwide was cute on a Storm but I bet someone took a Droid Pro overseas and raped Verizon (which was probably weird since VZW is so used to doing the screwing).
