If you really want to stay with Verizon (why??) try another phone. If not then get out now and find another service provider (Cingular mate!). 😈

obviously the one dude is from across the pond where GSM is what they use. But for those people who stay in the US CDMA has more potential than crappy GSM and don't argue with me on this, i worked with Cing. Larger call capacity, faster data than GPRS, and the ability to do soft transfer into analog areas, and get analog areas, lets see GSM match it.

You have 15 days. Generally, the consensus is that the Motorola 710 is not a recommended phone. I personally prefer the two Korean Manufacturers - LG and Samsung, with a slight hesitation towards the LG 4500 (others may disagree). Otherwise, LGs and Samsungs do very well.

Also, there is always discontent found on these message boards. As far as service providers go, there are various ratings for each carrier depending on the publication/source. That said, VZW is consistently at the top, or at a very close #2. The choice is yours, obviously - but there is a reason that VZW has a good reputation.
