I've soo wanted the iphone for verizon. Had the Storm when it first came out. HATED IT! Using blackberry curve for a few years. Quite happy but really want the iphone. Two questions-- Should I wait for the next version--4G?? Also is there anything like BBM for the iphone if you are communicating with a blackberry user? And most important-- will I be able to sync my outlook contacts, calendar etc to the iphone. Please help. 🙄 🤤

BBM is only for Blackberry. There are other programs out there that work the same way and are compatible across iPhone, Blackberry, & Android. Also, Outlook data will sync as long as you have an Exchange email account.

As for 4G I've seen rumors that the next iPhone may not even be LTE. Have you thought about Android? You can do everything an iPhone will do except for iTunes functionality basically. What do you really want to do with an iPhone? Honestly you can do more on Android and are way less restricted. IPhone you're stuck with their very few notification sounds and things like that unless you jailbreak it. Also no widgets and customizing like you can on Android.

Your outlook contacts and PIM info - are you on a company server using Outlook, or is this your home computer with your contacts stored?

My Droid Incredible came with a utility to sync with Outlook, made by it's manufacturer. It's for old-fashioned plug-in sync (which is not commonly done on Android phones). Most people will tell you to move what's in your Outlook to Google, so you will be constantly synced and backed up (no USB cabling to worry about). Whi...

Yes you can do Outlook sync with an iPhone but you MUST plug it into your computer. With an android device you can sync wireless by downloading the google sync plug-in to outlook.

From everything you have stated here you will be very happy with an android phone.

I might add if you want a LARGE touch screen you may be disappointed in the IPHONE. Personally I find the 3.5 screen behind the times as it were. Better maybe the Samsung Fascinate imo.
