how to find the price of new phone without a new contract
i'm still in my 2 yr contract. if i wanted to get a new phone i would have to pay the full price without discounts from 1 or 2 year contracts. how can i find out the full price of a phone?

Going to your account on verizonwireless.com will give you the retail price, using the "upgrade phone" option. If you're not eligible for any special pricing, it will give you full price without a contract. The on-line retail price is usually better than you'd pay even at Best Buy. Just today, I priced a Kyocera Soho phone at Best Buy--it was $189 without contract there. The online price at verizonwireless was $159.

Also, check on ebay, there are dealers that are selling brand new phones for verizon there all the time, if they have a good feedback, usually are ok to shop there.
Just make sure it is a verizon phone, as other companies will not work on verizon without reprogramming, and I see that most reps wont do that for you.
