Just keeps getting better for the VZW iPhone.

I understand VZW doesn't want to make the same mistakes as ATT did with the initial release of the iPhone. But they've had 4 years to make sure they wouldn't! 😳

How does it know what your downloading is a video or not? Is it for the built in YouTube application or something?

This is an optimization. Companies like sprint already do this on their network.

The optimization is content/site agnostic (so net neutral)

The problem is with stuff like airplay and slingbox, people will try using their phones to sling TV in 720P (or higher) which will destroy 3G networks.
