Is the Motorola A840 Out?
Just wondering if the Motorola A840 is out. Which is the best clam shell phone out that verizon has right now?

The a840 is out, but only through the business channel of Verizon. It is not out via retail.
The best clamshell phone would really depend on what features you are looking for. If you are looking for something with bluetooth, you would either want the v710 or wait for the E815 (if EVDO is important), however if bluetooth is not important, I would recommend the VX8000 from LG. I have it, and it is wonderful.
