Got an online order and tried to activate it, no record found for my port request. 😲
Called CS, and they transfered me around a few times with no luck.
Did say the port request was canceled, but didn't know why.
CS said they have to fill out a manual port request and it could take between 24-48 Hrs. Well it's been over 24 Hrs and I'm still unsuccessful at activating it with *228.
So I'm thinking the powers at be (probably some computer program) put the kibosh on my port request and when the CS checks back in with me they'll be unsuccessful too. 😕

Just pay the $20 to port your number to Google Voice so you never have to worry about it again....

Well, at least until one day Google decides to nickel and dime you, then you port out of Google voice into another service.
