WoW! That was fast! The TB came out like a week ago and there is already a timeline for it to receive the Gingerbread 2.3 update.

To me, there really isn't anything all that significant to come in 2.3. To me all the exciting features came in 2.2 with the ability to store apps to memory cards, because these smartphones have an extremely small amount of internal memory.

The Xoom had a timeline for 4g when it came out (approx. 90 days after launch) it's not that uncommon. The way you see just the few people who post on here it's no wonder they do this and just load their premade 2.2 or 2.1 into something to get time to develope their own twists on it. People are really impatient. As long as my iPhone still uses data and doesnt totally break on me, I'll keep it to get a device I can live with. Just from the comments on here I think my next choice is going to be an HTC sense phone, just have to wait for my contract to run its course.

I'm trying to form an opinion about Sense. Would you tell me what about Sense appeals to you?

I saw a really good link about the ui that I can't find at the moment. I like the clock widget on the device. Htc has worked pretty hard to polish the shell. Sense from my research has less lag and doesn't come across as many times with issues as Motoblur does. Htc makes more appealing phones asthetically as well imo. I like big, and htc is generally one of the first to push through updates to the firmware. Simple yet sophisticated.

I pretty much agree with this. I was no fan of Sense back in my Windows Mobile days, but now I prefer it on my Andoid phones. Its clean, and doesn't come with as much crappy bloatware as others can. The renderinfs are Smith and well made. No hard edge masculine feel like on Moto, but not feminie either. Lots of stock widgets.
