Motorola E815 Question
Sorry if this has been asked previously but, are there any projected on sale dates for this phone (E815) at the VZW stores? I'm in Omaha if that makes any difference.

Hi, well i've posted on the E815 forum that I heard on HOFO that a June 27th release date is gonna happen...I think this would make good sense because if you go to the hellomoto website you would see the contest to win a E815..it started May the 12 and is supposed to end on the 27th of June..do you really think verizon is going to release this phone to the public before the contest is over...I dont think so..

Alright everyone listen up!!! To all my forum friends and E815 fanatics - I contacted Motorola directly (866) BuyMoto and spoke with a rep there. She advised that the scheduled release of the E815 is the last week in June, and if for some strange, bizarre, and unforseen reason that does not happen it will NOT under any circumstances be later that the 1st week of July. She further stated that the price will probably be $200.00, although she was unable to give me an exact dollar amount. I hope this has been helpful.

A Verizon rep told me today that he knows corporate people who already have the E815 and that the phone is due out by the end of the month, with the LG VX8100 to follow a month or two later.

She could not tell me when this phone would be released (whether it was because she didn't know or wasn't allowed to tell me I'm not sure but generally she is pretty good about passing on pre-release information so I'm guessing she just doesn't know at this point), though I've read and heard that it should be out late this month or very early next month.

Have you people not realized the truth yet. This phone is nowhere close to coming out. Radio Shack ALWAYS gets motorola phones about 2 weeks to a month before VZW can sell them. It is part of their contract with Motorola. This phone is not even in the Radio Shack Item database yet as coming soon, so what makes you think that VZW will be getting this in 2 weeks???? Think about it. 😕
