new verizon gsm ...can i used an unlocked gsm now?
i saw verizon has a new gsm phone, i was gunna go buy it but i wanted to make sure i could use unlocked phones now...can i get the sim card and use an unlocked phone or am i stuck with that phone only??

Its CDMA and GSM, the only time it uses GSM is when your out of the country with it, you cant use ANY GSM phone with VZW in the states

That is technically true. you can "unlock" an another CDMA phone but you will only be able to use it for voice. All the data stuff you would need to get the right codes for VZW.
Plus he is talking about CDMA/GSM phones like the Moto A840 and the Samsung A790. Those type of phones with work internationally on a GSM carrier in Europe and when in USA only with VZW
