This is the stupidest idea I could have imagined. Except I don't imagine such silly things as thinner phones. I use the iPhone 4. It's too thin now and slick. Had a call where a man had just bought the phone stepped outside, dropped and shattered it on the pavement outside that store. Luckily he got the insurance. Apple seems to prefer form over function. I've only just started using the iPhone as a phone as my relationship becomes better with my family. But I often change hands because it starts to cramp my hand.

In closing, thin smartphones = good for pockets/awful for use.
