Epik, Azeron, and Cellstudent....I was able to downgrade back to OS 2.2 No more upgrades unless its an official OS upgrade and even then I may not upgrade. Thanks for pimp slapping me with your responses.

Dumb question though coming up...Can you add your Facebook account and not add the person's cellphone number to your contacts?

Thanks

Don't add through the Motorola Facebook. Just download the actual Facebook app from the market and you'll actually get a lot more functionality and not have to deal with the contacts.

I believe you were the Droid X user that went to the Gingerbread leak. I did as well on mine and didn't have any issues. I think you were having the texting issue where the time stamp was off which caused your messages to be in the wrong order? This was actually a bug even in some of the official 2.2 updates on the Droid X for a while and apps like Handscent have a way to adjust the timestamp. There is also an app that will adjust sms timestamps automatically when the messages are received to fix this issue.

I think sometimes on some phones that option won't work at all.

The other thing to check is on the phone go to setting, and then accounts and see if you added Facebook there. You may see Facebook twice in there as well. One might be the Motorola Facebook sync and one might be the actual Facebook app. Make sure the contact sync option isn't turned on there. I'd actually recommend removing the Facebook account from there totally, the one that is the Motorola or Bl...
