Why no union aat cingular and no union at Verizon(repost)
Unions exist in companies that the employees feel they can not trust management to be fair and upfront. We feel as Cingular employees we can not trust Cingular that is why their is a union. When I talk to a my friend at Verizon he feels that they are pretty fair when it comes to pay benefits and career path. Cingular employees in customer service do not feel the same way at all. We all feel overworked and underpaid and not very appreciated that is a generalization but I think it is the truth. Any other Verizon reps have any opinions about joining a union. Are u for joining a union or against it?

I don't need to pay someone to negotiate me less pay and benefits. I'll just do my job and not get myself fired all on my own.

I am not really anti-union nor am I completly pro-union. I think cingular has a union because our managers in the call center suck.

yeah i would second that motion.... see the #2 cell phone company puts there employess right were they put there custoemrs #1....they hand us the moon on a silver platter...consider applying its worth it come on over to the bright side
