I know that I can have all of my calls that come into my VZW phone to another cell phone number, but can I have it forward my text messages to that cell phone too?

Also, am I correct in assuming that when I am having my calls forwarded, it is only using minutes from my account? Or is there some kind of forwarding charge too?
