I think my phone finally bit the dust.
I have a StarTac and I’m away from home fro a few days and did the *228 to update the roaming. I don’t think that had anything to do with it but it has not been able to find a signal since then. It will search, turn off, back on again and recycle doing this over and over.
I know I’m well overdue for a new phone but I wanted to wait for the 815 to come out before I made a decision. So I was wondering if anyone had an idea of where I could get a cheep ($10-$25…free) phone to use for a few weeks till the new phones come out.

try ebay. Just make sure you call in with the esn number from the phone you want to purchase, and make sure that the phone isn't stolen.
