Verizon in the Carolinas????
Verizon recently opened a call center in Wilmington, NC; but has no coverage here. I heard they are now in Myrtle Beach, SC now. Does anyone know if/when they are going to be in the Wilmington market?

Are u already with verizon? Why not just go with alltel since almost half of the state of nc verizon uses alltel's towers. Alltel's coverage in the carolinas' is awesome. Check out alltel's website to see their new coverage map, it is by far the most impressive map i have seen.

If Alltel had total coverage, I could not convince my wife to EVER go with Alltel again. She had Verizon in DC, before moving to Wilmington. She switched to Alltel because her new $200 Verizon phone was compatable with Alltel.
Now she is a Capricorn. That means she not only pays her bills on time; she saves the receipt; staples it to the bill and files it all in her file cabinet.
Three times in one year they turned her phone off because of "non-payment".
She would have to go stand in the line at Alltel with all her documentation and PROVE that she had in fact paid her bill.
I remember one time they asked her to supply the cancelled check. She could not because she had on...
