Job Pointers
Ok so I am seriously considering pursuing a career in wireless sales...I am supposed to be interviewing for a position with VZW. Anyone have any pointers on the interview process? All help would be appreciated...Also if anyone has any insight to working within a retail store that would be great. I love sales and performance based jobs so I think this would be a great fit and a great challenge as well. Once again thanks for all the help! 🙂

1)Wear tight pants. Everybody loves a nice caboose.
2)Look distracted...people will think you're
so intelligent they're boring you.
3)Make exclamations like "Oh!" and "Hmm!" so they think you're enthusiastic (which might contradict #2, but hey...

I work for VZW although customer service not sales...... but let me tell you.. when they interview they're all about tell me about a time when....... you better get a list of experiences you've delt with doing previous sales because they wanna hear, about the situation how you handled it and how the customer felt after you were done w/ the situation. blah blah blah. 🙂

To the original thread starter: It's a job and a job interview. Deal with it as any other. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to work at VZW.
