I am signing up again for another two years and will be upgrading my phone through NE2. I do not want to lay out any money for the phone (rebated money is permitted). I have taken a leave of absence from these boards and not kept up with the phones available these days so I am requesting suggestions for solidly performing phones. The most important features I require are reception, voice quality and second display. Other features I would like include; multiple entries per name, voice dialing, predictive text, speaker phone, camera (not doing tons of pictures but would enjoy the option), good size pleasant to look at easy to view displays, assorted digital items such as calculater, differntail rings per caller, etc. I expect a dual band digital cdma phone.

Although I have not recently checked the price, I suspect the v710 does not yet fit into the price requirements I laid out otherwise I would agree with you.

What is the net price for the VX6100?

The 6100 is $99.99 with a $50 rebate.

So you would get it for $50 then they would give you the $50 rebate making it free.

thanks. I read in the reviews that this phone uses a default voice dialing protocol so that if you have more than one entry for a person your voice dialing will only work for one of them. The only way around this is to have more than one entry for the same person listed seperatly.

I am not sure what this feature is called but it would be useful for any phone book.

Is the speaker phone half or full duplex?

Is it safe to assume that by this time any of these phones sold have the upgraded software to take care of the volume and dialing bugs?

Can I assume that I can set the phone for digital only to avoid the analog unless I know I will need it?

can my outlook contact list be transfered through USB to this phone
