I lost my phone. Advice?
I'm hoping that I can get some advice. I lost my phone over the weekend and am trying to get a new one asap. Verizon is saying that I am not eligible to upgrade and that I'm going to have to pay full price for a new phone.
Is there any way around this?
I spoke with a Verizon reseller today and he told me that he think I should just try to get a used phone. Any places that you can recommend? Any older models that I should get or avoid?
I'm just trying to cover my bases and avoid getting screwed.

If you still need a phone, I will sell you a current model used phone at my cost just as a courtesy. I have lots of phones; the cheapest would be a Nokia 2285 at $102, the most expensive would be the Samsung A610 for $300 even. If you pay me the phone cost plus shipping I'd be happy to help you out. I have a daily UPS pickup, so I could ship it overnight if you need it. Respond with an email address if you want me to get ahold of you.

Where do you live?? I do recommend in possibly getting a used phone, usually Agents take tradeins that you may be able to buy at a cost.

I have a 6000 that I have been using for a couple of weeks, but it's in perfect condition. He could have that one for $250 plus shipping. That's the only one I really want to let go, but it would be eligible for a $70 rebate if he is a new or upgrade customer. A 4400 would be $190 plus shipping.
