EVDO question
I am planning on buying the new LG 8100 when it is released. I want to access my MSN email account using the Mobile Web service as I have on my v710. Does the Mobile Web service work in conjunction with the VCast service so that the Mobile Web will take advantage of the hi-speed connection, or will it use the same (slow) connection like my v710? Can I access my pop3 account using VCast?

I check my yahoo account all the time from mobile web and its pretty quick when I am in an evdo area. I remember trying to check my email on my 6000 and it just pissed me off becuase it was so slow.

yes, mobile web and GIN both take advantage of EVDO when possible. it also means that you don't get charged airtime for mweb or GIN, which is also nice

If you want to access your pop3 email you will need to look at a data phone such as the Treo 600 or 650.
