What services available in "Extended Network?"

I live in an Alltel market and VZW is not licenced to sell it's service here, but we are of course in the "No Roaming" area by VZW.

Does anyone know what services would be available on Verizon in an Alltel market only?

keep in mind that if you have IN calling, it DOES NOT apply in extended network. minutes will come out of your normal allowance, whether it's verizon to verizon or not.

That is incorrect. "In" calling works where ever you have service. The only thing that effects in calling is blocking caller id.

Directly from the script we are supposed to read as a CS rep

“Your calling plan includes (unlimited or number of) IN Calling minutes. With IN Calling, you can call any other VZW customer within the Local IN Calling Rate and Coverage Area. The IN Calling Rate and Coverage Area is not available everywhere in your Home Airtime Rate and Coverage Area. Your IN Calling coverage area will be shown on your calling plan brochure that will be sent with the equipment/phone you have ordered as well as on the letter you’ll be receiving from us confirming the changes you have requested today.”

a lot of the extended network and ALL of the roaming areas are cut out of this map.

if by "a lot" you mean about 5%, you'd be correct. over 95% of the extended network is available for in network calling.

You are just bad at math. Of the 100% only %5 doesn't support IN calling. That would leave 95% available for IN calling.

If it's extended network, IN-Network calls will come out of the IN-Network bank. Roam light should not be flashing or solid.
