I placed the order online for the E815 last wed. A DAY AFTER IT CAME OUT, I just called to find out about the status of the order. They said they don't have any. This is a day after it came out... How can this happen? I am furious. When asked about when they'll be more available she just said: "I don't know" maybe next week... She also said that they sent me an email to tell me this, but I'm on vacation. I can't check my emails from work which is why I called to find out in the first place. How can a phone go out of stock the next day it comes out? I thought this would only happen at Cingular.

Because the manufacturer can't supply enough... has nothing to do with cingular or verizon. It happens a lot for any carrier when a hot new product comes out. Where did you order the phone from? If it was from corporate, the order goes to the warehouse and is fulfilled generally within a couple hours of you placing it. So, I don't know what the hold up is.

Moto shipped alot of phones that didn't have the vcast software in it. So they had to quarantine those phones and are having to send them back. Doesn't suprise me that moto screwed up. Its not verizons fault like the other guy said, they can't help when they run out of stock. I'm sure they had all the phones they could get from moto, because they knew this was going to be a hot phone.

Same goes for the V710. I asked my sup yesterday why we still advertise it. We (in the midwest) haven't had one on hand for over two weeks, and we have no idea (at least in cust care) when the hell we're getting any more. I've placed one order for an E815. As far as I know it went out, but we're out of stock on that one too.

The 8100 is supposedly coming out this week. I wonder if we'll get any.
