FYI - LG VX 8100 comes out the 15th
If anyone cares, I heard it was coming out today but a rep told me to come back on the 15th.

FYI verizon reps were given the ok TODAY to sale the 8100. Launch date in the computer systems still says 7/15 but has been cleared to sale now.

It has been soft launched as of the 8th. Full retail has now been changed to the 14th for now.

See, now CSR's get screwed here because we have to do everything via the website. MyAccount is the closest I'll ever get to my actual account and any orders have to be done via the intranet site so I have to be at work to do it. Even then we're at the mercy of whoever updates the page with the phones on it. All the VCast phones are $99 now but the only one I want of course isn't on the list. I'm going to have to open a new line to get the new phone and have no idea what I'm going to do with the extra.

how are all vcast phones $99? the lg7000 and mot e815 are $99 with a 2 year contract BUT the lg8000 os $150 with a 2 year contract. i'm assuming that the lg8100 will also be above $99.

I'm going into work early on the 15th to see if I can order the stupid thing. I'm happy employees don't have to send in the rebates anymore at least. Young America typed my address in wrong and it took 3 months to get my check. I should have called sooner but still...
