why would my message about verizon losing customers to other carriers get deleted by the moderator? any idea anyone??

there are two reasons why the thread was deleted from the verizon forum. while i will be happy to discuss this with you over email, i will explain the reasons here so that everyone may learn from them and base their future actions accordingly.
1. the double post. in some cases there is clearly a need for a double post, such as when there is a problem with a phone that is posted in both the forum for that phone as well as the forum for the carrier offering the phone. this was not one of those cases.
2. trolling. posting a message in a carrier's forum (or a phone's forum) merely to gloat about the performance of another product or carrier is no way beneficial to the phonescoop community and is viewed as trolling.

i have been reading these forums for well over a year now. i think that it was absurd to delete that post, i have seen much worse. it was a true statement and i was trying to get feedback from both forums. verizon bashes cingular in their forum and vice versa. i still think that someone is a whiner and needs to grow up.
