what to do?
Im currently about 10 months into my 2 year contract and my current phone(kyocera 2325)is really crappy, the battery is really messed up and there are some dropped calls. I would like to purchase the lg vx 6000. What should I do in this situation since im not even halfway through my contract and my phone is crappy.
any info is appreciated. thanx

Ick I don't believe you can do an early upgrade....
If the phone is servicable get it serviced. If you have asurion phone insurance then well you know what you have to do to the phone.
IF you have none of those options open then you will have to buy a VZW phone outright. The prices on a VZW phone outright run from $180-$400 depending on model and features.
You can try EBAY for used VZW phones but other than that you are out of luck. ☹️

if your kyocera was purchased less than a year ago, you can exchange the phone for another refurbished kyocera--- express exchange does not come with a battery. O you can deal directly with the manufacturer.
You will be eligible for a phone a upgrade(getting a phone a discounted price) 6 months prior to your contract end date if you spend more than $75 per month consecutively for 3 months or more, if you dont have wireless phone insurance, and if your account does not have an outstanding balance.
Another option is the trade in program-trade in your Kyocera and get $50 off the retail purchase price of any phone.
If you purchase from ebay or a pawn shop be sure that it is a vzw phone.

What trade in program? NONE of the VZW direct stores or dealers in my area have ever heard of this.

We have a trade in program for customers that dont want to sign a new contract or that may be out of warranty or dont have insurance and arent eligible for and upgrade. You get $50 off the retail price of the phone when you trade in your old phone. This is done at direct locations. If your local reps dont know about it they need to ask their DM!
